The UK Chamber of Shipping is delighted to announce ABB and Waves Group as the latest member to join the Chamber.
The Chamber is the voice of the UK shipping industry which contributes nearly £20bn a year to the UK economy and supports over 180,000 jobs across the country. Both ABB and Waves Group were confirmed as new members during the Chambers Supervisory Board meeting on 12 March.
Commenting on their membership ABB’s David Barton said:
“ABB is a pioneering technology leader with a key industry focus across marine and ports. We recognize the valuable work that the UK Chamber of Shipping is undertaking on the future of shipping and we want to support the industry on the journey to a cleaner more sustainable future. By joining the Chamber, we hope to use our experience to support the members and add to the important debates.”
Dennis Kelly Waves Group’s Director and Maritime Civil Engineer said:
“Waves Group is delighted to join the UK Chamber of Shipping an influential and excellent platform for organizations operating within the shipping industry. We look forward to working with the UK Chamber and its members in support and development of the offshore renewables and maritime digitalization sectors.”
